Our last wedding of 2016 was definitely special not only because of the sweet couple but because it was executed in a city I once called home……Nashville! The ceremony was held at Scarritt Bennett Wightman Chapel, built in 1928 and has been consistently named “One of the Best Places to Get Married”. The chapel was romantic yet simple with candles draping the alter.
After the ceremony guests ventured to the reception of one of my favorite venues in Nashville, The Cordelle. As the guests entered the venue they were swooned by the floating cake hung from the ceiling. The venue was dressed with damask, sequin, and lamour cream tone linens and the ivory floral centerpieces were filled with greenery. Nashville Audio Visual draped the rafters in the ceiling to add an extra pop to their crystal chandeliers hanging over the dance floor. Everyone enjoyed the southern comfort food and the event was captured beautifully by High Gravity Photography. The couple ran through an arm tunnel of their guest for the final exit and drove away in a New York City taxi cab. We wish them the best of luck as they start their new life together in the big apple…New York City!
