It’s a chilly December day here at Ellen Thomas Event Design, but we can’t stop thinking about Courtney and Benton’s warm, summer wedding! This July, we packed customized swag bags and traveled to Memphis, TN for a beautiful weekend to help Courtney and Benton celebrate their big day. Bright and early Saturday morning, the bridal party enjoyed breakfast while Kasey Acuff and Brady Boyd began doing hair and makeup. White Door Events brought finishing details to the Cadre Building, preparing for a fun-filled celebration at the reception that night. Meanwhile, back at the ceremony site, guests arrived at Christ United Methodist to a floral masterpiece designed by Ena Fowler Floral Design and DeClerk Wray Designs. As the ceremony finished, Memphis Soul Revue got the party started with toe-tapping soulful music at the Cadre Building. Drapers Catering outdid themselves with a spread of several delicious food stations, complete with passed late night snacks to keep the guests energy level up and the festivities going. Everyone was eager to try the cake by the Flour Garden before sending the new bride and groom off with a pom-pom exit. The happy couple can relive the weekend over again and again thanks to Kelly Ginn Photography and Malik Sharp Videography, who captured the entire wedding weekend. Benton and Courtney we wish you two the best and thanks for letting us be apart of your special day!
