Anytime we get the chance to plan an event at The Jefferson, my team and I are ecstatic because of the endless possibilities of working in such a unique space! Mary Blair and Ben’s big day was designed to perfection and detail. The couple exchanged vows in front of family and friends at the Oxford University United Methodist Church. As guests entered the venue, they were welcomed by the floral chandelier hung over the delicious wedding cake designed by Alice Chow. Fresh Cut Floral and Catering created the perfect ambience for a May wedding. The space was candlelit, and the neutral color palette of the linens set a warm atmosphere. Florals included all white peonies, hydrangeas, freesias and greenery. Details Specialty Rentals provided gold chiavari chairs and additional rentals to add the extra touch. Guests enjoyed amazing cuisine prepared by Fresh Cut Catering and Floral. As the bride and groom cut their wedding cakes artist Sam Beibers captured the special moment through a live painting. The Cakery designed the yummiest groom’s cake made of vanilla, chocolate, and strawberry, and the dance floor was covered with guests enjoying the tunes of DMP Band. As the party came to an end, the McCrearys exited their party surrounded by all their friends, family and lots of confetti. The couple drove away in their getaway car to enjoy their honeymoon suite at The Chancellor’s House, while guests were shuttled back to their hotel at The Graduate. Capturing this perfect event was John Clemmer Photography and Matt Lynn Video Productions. We wish you both nothing but happiness in your new life together!
